Orange Breakfast Smoothie

This low-calorie on-the-go breakfast is a great way to get a fresh start to your day!

Orange Juice

Ingredients

1/2 cup all natural orange juice
1 cup orange sherbet or non-fat vanilla frozen yogurt
1 cup sliced banana
1-1/2 cup sliced peaches
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Puree the orange juice, sherbet, banana, peaches and vanilla extract in a blender.

Pour into 4 glasses and garnish with a fruit of choice.

Yield: 4 servings

Much has been discovered about the orange and why it is so good for us -- over and above the obvious vitamin C benefit. Oranges also contain a lot of folate and potassium. In addition, they provide us with antioxidants and fiber.
