Chili-Cheese Pierogi

A quick and easy to prepare banana pineapple cream pie using fat free vanilla pudding and fresh fruit.

Ingredients

1 package (16.9 oz) frozen pierogi
1/2 cup water
1 can (15 oz) turkey chili
1 cup reduced fat shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sliced scallions

Directions

In a 9 x 9-inch baking dish, combine any flavor package frozen pierogi and the 1/2-cup water. Cover and microwave on high five minutes; mix well and drain.

Spoon can of turkey chili over pierogi; cover and microwave on high five minutes or until hot; sprinkle with reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese and let stand, covered, 3 minutes.

Sprinkle with sliced scallions and serve.

Serving Suggestion: Serve with a packaged green salad and crusty bread.
