Bacon Bowl Breakfast whips together in six quick minutes for a healthy and satifying breakfast on the fly.

Bacon and Eggs

Ingredients

1 slice bread, torn into 1-inch pieces
2 slices reduced-fat bacon, torn into 1-inch pieces
1/4 cup Egg substitute (equal to one egg)
1/4 cup skim milk
2 tablespoons reduced-fat shredded cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste
Sliced green onion, if desired

Directions

Combine bread, bacon, egg and milk in 6-inch cereal bowl; mix well. Sprinkle cheese, salt, pepper and green onion over top of egg mixture. Cover loosely with plastic wrap.

Microwave on medium (50-percent power) for three and one-half to four and one-half minutes until eggs are set. Let stand one minute before serving. Yield: 1 serving.

Notable Note
